The R60 is the first model in the R6x series and also the first R model produced by Lenovo. It was manufactured from May 2006 to September 2007. The innovations compared to the R5x series include a newer keyboard with Windows key and the SATA interface, which retires the IDE.

The design largely corresponds to that of the T6x series - the casing and display edges are slightly thicker, however, and the typical rubberisation is missing. The R60e is the less powerful Ecomony version, which is characterised by a weaker configuration and a missing touchpad.

My model still has the smallest CPU configuration, which is also purely 32-bit.
