The X131e is the third model in the X1xx series and was probably produced from August 2011. It inherits the X100e and was also offered in an Intel variant with an i3, Pentium or Celeron processor. In terms of design, it has slightly thicker display edges than the previous model and the large battery cut-out also looks a little lost. However, it is slightly smaller than the similarly aged X220. The notebook was marketed more as an entry-level device and is therefore not as high-quality as other X devices. It also lacks some features, such as a ThinkLight and a backlit keyboard. My device has the larger AMD CPU and therefore offers 2 cores and even 64-bit support. The RAM can still be upgraded to 8 GB.
