WorkPad C3
The WorkPad C3 was introduced in October 1999 at an MSRP of 400 USD. As with the previous IBM WorkPad 20X, it was simply a re-labeled Palm PDA with a different body color and logo - in this case a Palm Vx. There are also versions with reduced RAM (2 MB RAM) based on the Palm V.
The PDA also has a flashable ROM to enable operating system updates. The device was delivered with Palm OS 3.3, later updates brought the versions 3.5 and 4.1.
