The R51 is the second model in the R5x series. It was manufactured between April 2004 and February 2007. The angled corner at the top left known from the R40 was removed.

The design largely corresponds to that of the T4x series - however, the display bar of the clamshell is slightly higher.

My model has the small dedicated graphics card and the midrange CPU.
