The Edge 11 is the smallest model in the Edge series launched in 2010 and was available from November 2010. It was designed as a low budget device and does without the usual interfaces (e.g. fingerprint, expansion cards or docking ports) of business devices. However, no compromises have been made with the keyboard, apart from the strange picture up/down keys, which have a different key shape and a different type of switch.

The notebook is aimed at prosumers, which can also be seen from the different colours (Black Smooth, Heatwave Red). My device has the most powerful CPU and largest RAM configuration available at the time.
