760EL
The 760EL is a representative of the very popular 760 series, which was produced from 1995 to 2001. With a total of 10 variants (C, CD, L, LD, E, ED, EL, ELD, XL, XD) and different display resolutions and types, the series is considered to be very diverse.
Unfortunately, the EL model in my configuration has a DSTN display, which does not provide a particularly good picture - especially after all these years - and is also very delayed. The set I bought also includes the original IBM leather case with shoulder rest. The rubber coating is sticky, which is typical of its age, and dissolves on contact. The rubber coating on the palm rest in particular was in a desolate condition and has been removed.
