The 390E is the last model in the 3xx series and was manufactured between March 1999 and December 1999. Like some i Series devices, it was created as part of a cooperation with Acer.

In terms of design, it breaks with previous devices in the series, as it already has the pan shape of the A2x series introduced later, but still has fold-out feet.

The CPU is replaceable thanks to the MMC-2 socket, the graphics are connected with AGP for the first time in the series. The built-in UltraBay FX slot is larger than normal UltraBays - a combined optical and floppy disk drive is supplied as standard. However, there were also pure hard disk and battery adapters.

My device has the higher clocked Celeron CPU but the smaller RAM and hard disk configuration. The display has also been cut back. But the device is in good condition, there are no cracks on the casing or the hard disk cover, which turned out to be a weak point.
