The 360PE is arguably the most distinctive model in the 3xx series and was manufactured between April 1995 and June 1996. It is one of a total of eight model variants.

The notebook can be regarded as a very early convertible tablet, as the built-in screen can be rotated within the chassis frame. Next to the screen, a stylus is recessed into the lid. This is technically and visually almost identical to later styluses, such as those in the X2xx Tablet series. For example, it is possible to use the old stylus with a newer device and vice versa.

At over 5 cm thick and weighing just over 3 kg, the device is quite bulky. The pre-installed Windows for Pencomputer 1.0, based on Windows 3.1, offers numerous tools and input options, which can also be found in a revised version in the Windows XP Tablet PC Edition.

My device has the maximum RAM and a smaller hard drive configuration.
