Das T61p ist das zweite und letzte Performance-Modell der T6x-Serie und wurde von Mai 2007 und 2009 hergestellt. Die T6x-Serie markierte den Übergang zwischen 4:3 zu 16:10 - es wurden drei verschiedene Gehäuse in 4:3 (14.1" und 15") sowie 16:10 (15.4") angeboten.

Mein Gerät verfügt über einen Widescreen und erinnert mich an ein R500, welches ich von 2009 und 2012 besessen habe. Viele Bauteile des Nachfolgemodells T500 können übernommen werden. Mein Modell verfügt leider über einen üblichen Riss in der Handballenauflage.
