R500
Das R500 ist das einzige Modell der R5xx-Serie und beerbt das R61. Zusammen mit dem R400 ist es auch gleichzeitig das letzte Gerät der R-Serie. Es wurde zwischen August 2008 und 2010 produziert und anschließend durch das L512 ersetzt.
Für mich ist das R500 ein besonderes Gerät, da mein erstes neu gekauftes Notebook ebenfalls ein R500 war. Ich habe lange nach einem R500 gesucht, welches meiner damaligen Konfiguration nahekommt.
Gegenüber meinem damaligem Notebook verfügt dieses R500 über eine deutlich stärkere CPU mit großem Cache. Der RAM entspricht dem offiziellen Maximum, jedoch ließe sich auch die doppelte Größe verbauen. Das Gerät ist in einem guten Zustand, das WSXGA+-LCD weiß zu gefallen.
