Das T440 ist das erste Performance-Modell der T4xx-Serie und wurde 2013 vorgestellt. Gegenüber dem T440 verfügt es über deutlich stärkere CPUs sowie ein optisches Laufwerk. Es ist das letzte T-Modell mit einer wechselbaren CPU.

Wie auch bei anderen Geräten der 40-Serie wurde hier ein tastenloses TrackPad verbaut. In der Praxis kam das nicht gut an, da das Clickpad ungenau reagierte - der laute Klickton brachte der Neuerung schnell den Namen “ClunkPad” ein. Mit dem T450 kehrte Lenovo wieder zum konventionellen TrackPad zurück.

Mein Gerät ist in einem guten Zustand, CPU und Display wurden nachtäglich getauscht.
